CS Preps Structured Carbon Credit Sale (DW)

Credit Suisse is working on a structured sale of carbon emission credits for an unidentified client that it hopes to wrap by year-end. The deal would be the firm's second deal, after it completed the first ever sale of credits from a portfolio of projects in December. Rights to the future physical delivery of 5.5 million tons of carbon offsets known as Certified Emission Reductions were sold in that transaction.
